A short description of the service and how the visitor will benefit from it.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:58

Testimonials

I’ve been in church all my life. As a pastor's kid, church was quite literally my second home. My parents have always emphasized having faith in Jesus, but for many years, I had a very passive relationship with Him. I’d known of who He was, but I never truly gave Him my struggles. I loved Jesus, but there were things of this world still placed above Him. There came a moment in my life where, although everything appeared okay, I was emotionally broken inside. I had no sense of identity or confidence. I felt this longing for wholeness and security in my heart. In that season is where I truly and wholly knew that I needed Jesus. That I would need Him daily. It was at the feet of Jesus, at His altar, where I felt myself become a new creation in Him. I encountered Him in a mighty way, and truly understood what it meant to declare my God is the greatest, most powerful, and most loving. Since then, the Lord has been my entire world, above all other things. As I grew in my relationship with Him and His word, my faith began to grow. I have sought and experienced His love, favor, and forgiveness. I’ve been a witness to many of His deliverances, healings, and transformations. All my issues, big or little, I place in His hands. In all opportunities, I try to share His gospel. I now seek and pursue to understand His word and Spirit on a deeper level to increase my faith. I also want to share His truth to strengthen other people's faith! God is good.

My church community has been a great encouragement in my walk with Christ. It has truly become a second family, offering love, support, and opportunities for growth. Seeing others pursue Christ with passion reminds me that I’m not alone in this journey. I have felt strengthened in times of weakness and worry, encouraged in seasons of tiredness and uncertainty, and challenged during times of growth. Being part of ministries such as the worship team has allowed me to experience deep fellowship, and build relationships with people who uplift me when I’m struggling, and celebrate with me when I see God working in my life. My church community has helped me stay accountable in my walk with God and has continually pushed me to grow in faith, humility, and love. I’m truly grateful for my church family because they have shown me that following Christ isn’t something we do alone; it’s something we walk out together, encouraging one another daily to become more like Christ.

Being part of a church community has strengthened my walk with Christ in ways I never expected. Growing up, I experienced abuse and carried a lot of pain, confusion, and loneliness. When I felt like no one cared, Christ met me in that darkness and pulled me out. Through the church, God surrounded me with people who encouraged my healing, reminded me of my worth, and helped me grow spiritually. Christ began to work in me in ways I couldn’t have imagined, He gave me the courage to serve. Now I’m part of the worship team and I teach Sunday school, which continually deepens my relationship with Him and allows me to pour into others the same love He poured into me. God also removed me from a toxic relationship and used that season to show me His protection and faithfulness. My church family walked with me through that transition and helped me stay grounded in His truth. Overall, being part of a church community has encouraged my walk with Christ by reminding me that I am never alone, that my story has purpose, and that God continues to restore and use my life for His glory.
